Based in Los Angeles, Vivek Shah is an entrepreneur and investor who serves as CEO of the AI data platform Gauge AI. He is also looking to invest in restaurants in and around Los Angeles. Vivek Shah has founded and led other innovative technology companies, including most recently the subscription-sharing marketplace Gowd. This app allowed consumers to split the cost for various digital subscription services.
Before that, Vivek Shah launched Strance, a livestream mobile app that allows users to share their unique talents in digestible, 30-second clips with songs from YouTube. He also founded DriverChatter, a communication app exclusively for Uber and Lyft drivers in the US.
Complementing his experience, Mr. Shah is an alumnus of the University of Illinois, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor of business administration. Outside of his professional endeavors, he founded Los Angeles Hope for Kids, a nonprofit providing vital services to underserved children, and enjoys hobbies like traveling, exercising, and skydiving.
